Guess The Ride

Look at the picture and guess what the ride is judging by the control panel.

Wow! That sure didn't take long! I thought that since it was a relatively new ride, I would at least stump someone.

I recognized it more by location than the panel

Boot Scootin' Boogie!
I recognized this one by the driver's box and because my kids love this ride. One of the best moves 6F has made over the past few years is moving many of the AstroWorld rides up here for younger kids. It has completely changed our experience of the park as a family with young kids.

The only ride SFOT got piece-by-piece was Sidewinder (Scrambler.) The other two that existed at AstroWorld that SFOT now has (Rock N Rocket, Crazy Legs) are not totally from AstroWorld, but are made up of pieces from several unused versions at other parks. The majority of the rest of the flats, including most of the Looney Tunes Town rides, went to Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey. Others still sit unused, their whereabouts unknown.

Crazy Legs was supposed to be 100% (or mostly, at least) from AstroWorld's ride, but it didn't survive the trip from Houston up I-45, if what I was told is true. Even the colors of AstroWorld's version were used in the computer animations for the press release for the 10 new flats, as they were planning it to be the same colors.

Missing the original
To me, the only Crazy Legs is the black one we used to have.

I was actually too scared to ride the original Crazy Legs when I was young because it reminded me of this big monster which kept appearing in my nightmares. It also didn't help when my family always ended up arriving at the ride at night.
