SFOT 55 Years - What do you still have
 

We need to get some life back on this site. This is SFOT'S 55th year. What is an item(s) that you still have from the days of your employment? I have several old Fry Cook hats from the 70's, a 1961 park map, and a Spee-lunker.

I have a few nametags, a training badge, one photo of me in a supervisor uniform, and a small brass tag from proximity switch 66 on Bobsled. I've had that on my keyring for 23 years.

Did anyone ever get an old uniform? What happened to all the costumes/uniforms from the 60's & 70's?? And yes I ask because I would like to get a few to go with my other items...:o

Somewhere I have a couple of enployee ID's. Maybe even a paycheck stub or two. But nothing really notable.

I had a girlfriend that used to work there but lost her a long time ago. :awkward:

I have several nametags, an operator's badge from the one season I was certified to drive/dispatch every ride, one of the old hatch release sticks with the ball on the end from Spinnaker, and somewhere, a pair of engineer's overalls that doesn't fit anymore and the Mr Freeze jacket that full-timers got when the ride opened.

Oh, and my handcuffs from the year I was in security.

But... I have lots of memories and some of the best friends I've ever had, which have far more sentimental value.

Still have my Modern Side Astrolift straw hat, astrolift handle, mine train sign, name tags, etc. I USED to have my blue six flags jacket in dark blue. I worth the heck out of it and had to finally give it up after it developed too many holes.

I have a new employee manual from 87 that says "We Care About You" on the cover and has a picture of a heart.

Two pairs of Engineer Overalls, operator's badge from 92,blue security shirt, ride safety committee badge, rain poncho and a running wheel that got stuck and burned in half from Giant.

I had one of the straw hats worn on the Riverboat, but my irresponsible sister, when I wasn't looking, donated it to Goodwill. Those were good hats, except, if you dropped one into the river, it tended to lose its shape....

Other than operator's badge.. my ID.. buttons they made us wear in ENtertainment..... I'm sure i still carry several LBS from the food leftover in the greenroom at Music Mill.... man those after concert feeds were great!!!! :)
