The proper reply?

Um, I don't remember the "Dear God!" part of the reply; in fact, I remember it being rather apathetic (oh, my eyes.). After all, James, you were the president of the Senior Apathy club, were you...

I had a 1973 Pinto station wagon - and it wasn't a Chevy, it was a Ford. Powder blue. Topped out at 58MPH. I knew guys that would pull the 4cyl out and put a bigger motor in; musta been something...

Banished at the SSM!

Don't know how this thread got on the SSM, but I gotta jump in. I was the assistant foreman at SSM (I had forgotten we used to call it the orgazmatron, Craig!) for a season. Larry Gentry kept...

My favorites: 1980-82

I guess my favorite was Flume, even if your fingers got sore - you had to press and HOLD the button to release the brake and dispatch a log - a good 15 secs or so. But I HATED loading.

Some of...

1980 Uniforms: My vote for worst

Of all the years I worked or attended SFOT, 1980 gets my vote for the worst uniforms. Those *$&^#@! Acme boots, those "farmer Jones" straw hats, and the ugly green - blech. The wet rides got to...
