Default Cliffhanger demolition

We had a low-res news video posted on here when the ride was originally imploded. Now we have this collection of videos from all angles of Cliffhanger bowing out with a bang. Rest well, dear Intamin's child, and thanks for all the fun!

WWWWWWWWWHHHHHHHHHYYYYYYYY!? They shouldn't be cheering I would be in tears. I had ridden that ride over and over again when I was a child.

Ok superman had taken over the place of the cliffhanger also that ride was old and maybe needed repairs so destroying it was maybe a better choice for money reasons.

Sad... but inevitable. Cliffhanger and its ilk tended to be very breakdown-prone. I remember when SkyScreamer, its Astroworld counterpart, seemed to be closed almost every other day.

Funny, as it was always open when I visited.
