Default I finally got the video online!!!

some months ago I got this 8mm film reel with the writing on the front "six flags 1962" The video is awesome. I got it transfered at Mikes video in hurst into a .avi file but it was too big. 1.1 gigs is just too much to put on the net. I did transfer it into a 180 meg .mp4 file... A little blocky but still watchable

Here is the link to the file:
http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...six+flags+1962

Fiesta Train footage is awesome!!!!

This video IS awesome. You folks should feel mighty lucky the "Kid" shared it with you. I've sat entranced by it and watched it many times over and over. This is a gift. Thanks analogkid280 !!!

Remember the days when you could take the family out to watch a good old-fashioned mock execution?

The park definitely had a rustic quality to it back then.

Thumbs up Deja vu all over again

Amazing to see some of the same Mexican animations that you can STILL see at the park today -- the dancing tamales, for instance. (I wonder if the background music was the same, too?)

And for all us eBay types -- what wouldn't you give for one of those Six Flags band uniforms, or at least the hat with the patch on it? (You can see the band depicted on some postcards and other souvenirs from the reeeaaally old days.)

Speaking of video.......

If you are not aware, the "Boomerang" channel from cartoon Network is currently showing "The Banana Splits Show". It has some footage from SFOT as some of the scenes/"music videos" were shot there.
It ran from about 1968 - 1970. It would also be great to get some of the videos from there, if anyone has that capability!

i managed to watch 3 & 4, the one in the link was unavailable. i'll try later. those are really cool. they remind me of some old videos - i think they were from my husband's childhood.
