I'd just like to remind everyone that I said 10 years ago that Premiere Parks management was a bunch of idiots and couldn't "manage" to pour water out of a boot if the instructions were printed on the bottom.

I hope they can right the boat... I don't like to see anyone lose their job or retirement benefits. But it would be sweet, sweet poetic justice if they brought back the old school management to get it done.

The Good News here is that, even if they don't come back. The Retirement pension of all Retired, soon to be retired and eventually retired are protected and the BK will not effect it at all.

This is a significant development.
Yes, Mr. Cochran is old school. He started a long time ago.

Heh... I was thinking the same thing... especially since I had the Original BK Chicken Sammich for lunch today.

Glad I cashed in my SFOT pension a few years ago. I saw this coming and decided to get my money out while it was still there.

I do believe that he worked in the park the year it opened, although not in a supervisory position.

Stroop,

How did you cash out your pension? Are you talking about your 401k? If so, you still have a pension that will be paid to you at the age of 65. You can contact Sixflags@seic.com to see what you are eligible for. I know you were Fulltime so there will be something there for you. I rolled my 401k over as soon as I left as well and I got my pension info just a few months ago on what I will get when I retire. I also have verification from the company that handles the pension that the money for pensions is 100% safe.

Does this mean we'll see the return of the Speelunkers?

Has it already been ten years? Poop.

Christin and I were just talking about how they can call themselves what ever they want, but they will always be Premiere.
