Park Videos Home movies of the park. Don't show us the one where you cry because you dropped your Pink Thing. We've all been there and the memories are too harsh. :)

Smile 1960's Bannana Splits Vids

You suppose that anyone would be interested in the music clips of the Bannana Splits Kids show characters visiting the park in the 60s? They were part of the "music video" portion of the show and it usually was these shaggy characters riding the rides and interacting with other visitors around the park. From what I can tell, it was probably shot during the summer of 1968 prior to the show starting it's Saturday morning run that same fall. The Boomerang network has been running this series for a while and I think that I have 5 or 6 segements in AVI format. If that file was zipped, what would be the size limit per video/per zip?

Default Wow!

Hey, I remember those! Besides the opening and closing credits videos, which were filmed at SFoT and Kings Island, I remember those early "music videos" with them riding the Mine Train and the Cave. There were also sequences filmed in front of the Southern Palace and I'm sure many other places that slip my mind after all these years. I for one would love to see these on here if space allowed.

YES! PLEASE! I would love to see them. I never got to experience the eras of Six Flags y'all grew up in and trust me there isn't enough historical content out there. Please share the videos with us.

If there isnt' space here, do you mind sending them via e-mail.

Also if there isnt' space here (which I don't think is a problem...I could be wrong), but I could see if I could find you another great SFoT site to host it with.

For those that don't remember the Splits or have never heard of them, here's a page with a little info on them:

Hi Pound1310, try to upload them in separate parts, unzipped. Let me know if you have trouble and maybe I can adjust the forum to compensate. Or, I can post them on the sfot.net root page for access. I have plenty of disk space.

Tra la la, la la la la. One banana two banana three banana four...

Not to be a killjoy, but I thought the Banana Splits opening shots were from Six Flags Over Georgia, not SFOT.
