Default Facebook Friends

Okay, my youngun's set me up a facebook page.
They thought I should join this century.

I also joined the "I miss the speelunker cave at sixflags".

Now, however, I need to add some friends that are old enough to drive.

So, if you have a facebook look me up, I am the only Davis McCown in the system.

Or hit the "I Miss the Speelunker cave at sixflags" group and sign up. There are only six of us right now. We could probably double that in a day. (There is no space between six and flags in the group name.")

You may want to note you are from this board, so I'll know who you are. Although so far I haven't turned down anyone that clicks on my name.

I just got a facebook account myself about 2 weeks ago. I think the damn thing is a virus.
Anyway, I also joined the 'speelunker' group and the 'six flags employee' group. Damn... they already have 700 members. Maybe I should just shut down this board. Facebook is the future.

Just kidding...we have too much invested here.

Looks like just a bunch of youngens.

Lot more resources on line here.

Although facebook will make putting together a Reunion for the 50th Anniversary a little easier.

(For those of you sleepers, the 50th Anniversary is 2011, two years away.)

The best part about being guys is that we don't mature past 12. The ladies will agree.

Davis, I'll do my best to make the 2011 reunion. Sounds fun! Maybe I can even skip the lines in my wheelchair and hear the able-bodied folks cussing under their breath. I've always wanted to try that!

I had that same thought. I'm sure a lot of people on Facebook have no idea this site exists. So, we'll be able to bump up the numbers considerably. We did a survey on interest in a reunion last year and it was pretty weak. Maybe this summer is a possibility or like you said the 50th should be huge if the numbers keep growing. Right now with Facebook and sfot.net, it's about 2000 ex's. I'm sure there are a few dupes. Facebook does have that 'attention span of a gnat' quality about it. Even dodos like my brother are trying to find former SFOT'ers on Facebook rather than this site! Sometimes I just don't know why I bother.

I saw you, or someone with a rather large hat, on out there Saturday when I flew through to check out that changes at the park. I think you were carrying a broom and dustpan?

Done. I'm not sure how to find some people with common names. I wish the search was more robust. Now where is that old buddy of mine... John Smith? )
