Default New Postmix History website

The new Postmix History website, "NorthStar: A History of SFOT Post-Mix" is now located at http://www.geocities.com/postmixx/index.html.

There you will be able to see some pictures, anecdotes, and the Hall of Fame list. The glory days of Postmix are long gone, but they will live forever on the Internet (or as long as I keep the website going).

Default Tell me more.......

Please tell me more about Postmix circa 1995. I hear that year was the most glorious of years! Wasn't that the year in which "sucking" was introduced? I heard that was the downfall of the Postmix nation. Tell me about the people you worked with!

Is'nt postmix still around at the park? I worked with some sort of cold drink fixerupers when I was in the plumbing shop in 99?

Mike Robison-1970 to 1974 Worked Mgr. of Doubleday's last in 1974 and started my 5-yr. tenure at the Mexican Snack stand in 1970. Would love to get as many of the ol' crews together for a reunion in Arlington. Look forward to hearing from you soon! I worked with Jim Vanderventer,Tom Behringer, and all the crew in Postmix in these years. Thanks to the Postmix guys always running through the park repairing our drink machines on those 30-40K Saturdays!!! Also, gosh I miss the Sulak brothers! Great memories!

As a consumer of soft drinks, I have a request. If you Postmix people are going to screw up, please do so in favor of the syrup. I know this must involve many technical intricacies, but too much syrup is better than too little. Okay?

That's really up to their superiors. But since we can hope for honest "mistakes" in our favor, add accidentally subbing a box of real Dr. Pepper for that Mr. Pibb to their list. .

But at least we aren't stuck with Pepsi as the sponsor.
