I wanted to put this here since he was discussed here, instead of starting a new thread..but Ron Toomer has passed away after a lengthy battle with cancer.

It's a very sad day....but he brought joy to millions.

Wouldn't it be nice, though, if SFOT could run the Runaway Mine Train once around, with empty cars, and a wreath in memory of Ron?

The undated photo has circle marks showing where the changes were to occur in the original Runaway Mine Train track configuration.
