Anyone know what the construction between the end of Main St. and the castle is for? Construction wall are blocking a pretty large are on both sides of the main drag up to the castle.
I'm not sure but maybe it's a phase of this?

Thanks for the link, Twisted.

The Hub was designed to accommodate the Swan Boats, which quickly proved to be a less-than-viable attraction. Ever since, they've been stuck with a big area of unused real estate. It looks like they're making alterations to improve traffic flow and crowd-control, along with new landscaping.

Yeah, when we went in February, there was a crane sitting *right* there by the castle almost the whole trip and really depreciated any of the daytime pictures I tried to take of the castle.

I'm too lazy to click the link above so sorry if this is a repeat...

The walls are up so they can expand the hub help ease the bottle neck that occurs there constantly (not to mention more room for firework viewing so they can add more FP+ to the reserved viewing area

The crane that was up in February was to repaint the turrets on the castle...why they didn't bother to paint them when installing/removing the Christmas lights is beyond me
