The dialog was so cheesy, the first time I saw it, I thought I was watching a hi-tech version of the Texas Gunfight Show.

Lightbulb This week's special guest star ...

Actually, you could argue that the classic "Batman" TV show was a high-tech version of the Texas gunfighters show, although I'm not sure about the "high-tech" part.

They did have their own nuclear reactor in the Batcave, though.

I guess I was expecting something different, considering it appeared as a result of the Burton film's popularity.

What happened in the circus version to make it so bad? I only saw the one with the Joker.

If I'm not mistaken, Joker was the bad guy even though the Freeze movie was the most recent. Anyway, to answer you question

1. Batman was only in it for about 2 minutes at the very end. Everytime you thought he was going to make his apperance nothing happened. It was a bad story and they should have left him out and just made it a circus show.

2. The circus people were sub-par (note: I couldn't have done what they did, but that's not the point). I think they may have been leftovers from the circus in Festival Mall parking lot.

3. The stunts were less than spectacular.

Just two minutes?! I'm surprised people didn't fall asleep. or at least get on stage to liven things up.

The best part was when the fake plastic batman would shoot out the tower and if the wind was right he would land on the railroad track. What if the engine happened to run over him!
