I also started in '88 at Spinnaker, but I worked just as much at Conductors, Chaps, and Cave... I got sent all over Blue Side when I was the newb and couldn't drive the ride. But I only worked a couple months before I went off to college.

I worked rides the summers of 1987 and 1988. I had an absolute blast working at Six Flags.

Default old friends

Last friday night at the Cowboy stadium for the high school playoffs I ran into John Poskey AKA scooter. He is working for the state highway department. He said he ran into Michelle Hinton the other day.

I found out that Teresa Shoppe form Flume 1 in 87 is in the Arlington Police Academy. I've been there 20 years and am elgible to retire and she is just getting starting.

I worked at the stadium Saturday night with Charlie Fernandez who is a police officer and one of the teachers/instructors at the Arlington police academy. He was a foreman at Flume 2 in 87. He specializes in ground fighting.

How's his ground defense? Is he strong in Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu, or is he more of a wrestler? ... or a ground-n-pounder?

;-)
