Default Historic Achievement

It's official! Arlington has left the Stone Age! That's right, folks. Arlington now has bus service! It's a bus line that goes to the DFW Airport and Downtown Dallas. The cost is only five bucks and lasts all day.

I guess it's a start...far from the mass transit system that Arlington could really use, but it's better than nothing...it'll be interesting to see how ridership holds up with such limited service

It's a two-year pilot program, they're going to see how many people use it before committing to it fully, and/or expanding the bus service. I think they're still reluctant to fully embrace mass transit. The reasons are ridiculous, but they are sure sticking to them.

Starting November 4th, they're adding a stop at N Collins St & Andrews St near Road to Six Flags. It's still express, so expect a looong walk to the stadium and theme park.
