I doesn't really look like it was rebuilt last year (as stated in the ad).

It does look it pretty good shape otherwise.

I can remember standing there counting the cars that were coming up....and then counting my place in line to see what color car I was going to get....I was a weird kid.....what can I say.....

I always wanted the red ones...........but usually I didn't get one....

so yeah........If I were to get my hands on that....it would be red....no question....didn't they used to be decked out with decals and numbers and stuff?.......

Hey Bill...
I may still have my pull-rope. I don't think I have the skill to tie it in a knot like we used to do with a flick of our wrist though.

Please post some pics of your collection. I'd love to see the cars. One day I'd like to get ahold of one myself and rebuild it. My latest rebuild was a 69 Honda Minitrail...

I don't have the Triumph anymore, but still have the Minitrail. ...ya know in case I'm a in a parade some day.

Loved doing that when I was at Chaps. The trick was to get a long rope that had been broken in and completely flexible.

There was an article several years ago in the fort Worth Star-Telegram of a man in this area who bought one or two of the early 60's SFOT cars at auction and restored one.

That's a fun project.
