What's a Floomi? Anything like the Six Flags groupies (usually season pass-holders)? If so, we had an....ummmmm..."unique" one during FrightFest...

I'm sure most of us had regulars we got to know over time. Some good, some bad, some....well, different to say the least.

There's a mini-discussion of him over on page 4 of the Six Flags Dirty Jobs thread.

Oh ok...now I remember that. I also remember Tommy from FrightFest. Long, greasy hair and mostly toothless. Then again, that could describe the nightshift at Waffle House.

Sorry for hijacking your thread, Rebecca.

Tommy! I had forgotten about that guy. Remember his sack of Dr. Peppers he carried around and his monster masks ha ha! I remember when I worked security he would hang around at the end of the night and try to get one of us to give him a ride home.

I actually knew more of tommy than you guys.

When i was working at Braums on Randol Mill he, His mom and his dad for shakes.

His dad passed from cancer in 2002. His mom passed away a year or two ago.

Unfortunatly someone made a false claim of him touching them on the rear and he got banned for life. The park found out later that it was a false claim. He really was a nice guy and personally got a raw deal.

Question

Tommy was always nice to me and vice-versa, in or out of costume. Even after I left the park to move on to bigger things, he still recognized me when I went back to visit friends. We'd always talk about Halloween and haunted houses. I'd have to agree that he got a raw deal. Wonder what ever happened to him?

I know he's had a rough life. Losing both parents in such a short time must be devastating.

Whether he was a nice guy or not, he creeped people out all the time, and he got numerous complaints about him loitering and harassing people.

I never met him personally, but based on the number of complaints that were filed on him, there was definitely a history behind him getting banned, it wasn't just because of that one incident.

Flumi and Tommy are just people you saw a lot at the park and you always made sure to say hi but kept walking while you were doing it. I was cornered by Flumi on more than one occasion and I knew that would involve seeing pics and talking about his records of riding the flume rides. What about the Guy with the invisible dog (Oh wait wrong park!)

I remember both those guys. Flumie always hung around dock at Flume trying to tell the Team members how to do their job. He also tried to get them to ride with him and get a picture, trouble is he also asked the Guests the same thing and freaked out quite a few of them. especially the younger ladies. I was the same as ya'll with Tommy, I would just say hello when passing, but I do know he was referred to as Tommy Troll.
