Default High Dive Pool

Is the old high dive pool still located under the old Batman stunt show? Rumour has it they never filled it in?

It was the dolphin show, then briefly covered over for a western stunt show, then was the dolphin show again. After that it was totally gutted to build the current stunt theater/arena (as far as I remember). Considering that it would need major foundation work for the newer arena, I'm guessing that the rumor is simply that.

The diving stunt show was performed in the same pool used for the dolphin shows. It may have been reworked some, but it was the same location and basic setup.

Doh, I neglected to add the high dive show to that list. But still the same theater that also hosted a western stunt show. Regardless, that theater was demolished and gutted before the current stunt show facility was built. I'm guessing that it's foundation work required more than just covering over the old dolphin pool.

Someone told me the pool is still under the foundation and there's a manhole cover somewhere in the back to get to it. I think I read it on Parktimes.

I've heard that before, but it doesn't sound like the kind of information I would post on my site unless I saw it myself or it was published in a press release or some such.

I may have said that in another thread, but I don't recall.
