I can't say for sure, but I think that might be at a spot that was occupied by a gift shop while I was at the park, maybe called The Emporium... seems like it was between Smith Street (the street between red school house and the old shooting gallery) and the Southern Palace... next door to Colonel's Pizza, maybe?

I remember that shop had doors on two exterior walls in the building.

I was always under the impression that the building in the parking lot that the Traffic Attendants use (used?) as their base of operations was the old Doggie Hotel. I didn't know the Doggie Hotel was ever inside the park... I just assumed it was a kennel for dogs back in the day.

Two different buildings, Jeremy. The one in the Texas section was called Dogie to fit the western theme ("Git along lil' dogie!") and the dog kennel was located right outside the park, not far from the picnic grounds.
