True, it was built that way at DL due to the need for lowering riders under the berm. But at least Disney kept the stretching room concept for Florida, even though it wasn't truly necessary (mechanically).

I'm still trying to find my videos I shot at WDW on previous trips. If I do, I'll try to upload them.

Here's one of the online videos of DL during the annual "Holiday" overlay. While I had my doubts at first, namely because I'm a purist, it's quickly become one of my favorite seasonal events!

Default Haunted Mansion hotel rooms anyone?

Any volunteers to stay in a Haunted Mansion themed room?

of course these are only concepts presented in a survey to some WDW guests...the full article can be found at http://www.wdwmagic.com/Resorts/Walt...sort-rooms.htm

Those concept drawings are great! I'd stay in one of them for sure.

Looks like there are more changes to the Haunted Mansion here at WDW including a more interactive queue with a walk through crypt and new interactive hitchhiking ghosts. The first link below is a link to an article about it, the second is what they have in place now while the changes are being made

Sweet touch, even if it's only temporary. As the article said, it's cool to get a substitute effect during the actual construction of the permanent one.

Yes...I think certain theme park companies would have simply cut that last part of the audio, but since it an iconic part of the ride I'm glad they have something...hopefully i can go see it soon

Exactly! Well, I guess they could merely leave guests wondering where the ghosts are that'll be "following them home", but "hitchhiking ghosts" are preferable to "stalking ghosts".
